3-Band Waveform
CDJ-3000-style 3-band waveform for the detail and overview waveforms, drawn with rekordbox's own 3-band rendering (low blue, mid amber, high white, with rekordbox's overlap colours). Shortcut → WAVEFORM COLOR gets a 3BAND button next to BLUE and RGB. Adds UTILITY → OVERVIEW WAVEFORM TYPE: HALF (default) / FULL WAVEFORM (saved).

- On the deck
- UTILITY → OVERVIEW WAVEFORM TYPE
- Needs
- Nothing else: works on its own.
- Known limits
- Tracks without rekordbox 6/7 3-band data (.2EX) stay RGB while 3BAND is selected.
- OVERVIEW WAVEFORM TYPE replaces the rekordbox export's overview setting.
Changelog
- v1.1.1Latest
- Tested on a deck: marked stable. The firmware is identical to 1.1.0.
- v1.1.0
- 3-band drawing now follows rekordbox’s own renderer: correct low/mid/high byte order, independent band extents with rekordbox’s raised-cosine high band, and rekordbox’s overlap colours.
- Overview from rekordbox’s preview equations (within 2.5 of 40 px of rekordbox’s own overview on 80 tracks).
- Shortcut → WAVEFORM COLOR → 3BAND button.
- Switching 3BAND → RGB → 3BAND while a track plays keeps working (the deck’s database returns no data on a second read; the mod reuses its copy).
- Smaller: calls the firmware’s own division and copy routines; overview table kept in free RAM instead of flash.
- v1.0.0
- First release.
- Shortcut → WAVEFORM COLOR → 3BAND draws the detail and overview waveforms from rekordbox’s 3-band analysis.
- UTILITY → OVERVIEW WAVEFORM TYPE: HALF WAVEFORM (default, as on the CDJ-3000) or FULL WAVEFORM; the choice is saved.
