Beat Numbers
Beat counts under the scrolling waveform, like the CDJ-3000: 4, 8, 16 and 32 (64 and 128 zoomed out) under the spots that many beats ahead of the playhead. They stay put while the track plays and move with the zoom level. The playhead sits a quarter from the left like on the CDJ-3000, so more of what is coming is shown; choose Stock on the website to keep it in the middle. The numbers use the screen's own digits and colours, so they follow a screen theme too.

- Needs
- Nothing else: works on its own.
- Known limits
- Beta: tested in the CDJ-2000NXS2 emulator, not yet on a deck.
- The numbers count beats from the playhead (the beat grid's tempo), not bars from a cue point: when the playhead is on a downbeat they sit on the red bar ticks.
- A number that would crowd the playhead, the one before it or the ZOOM – GRID label is left out (zoomed far out, 4 is).
- The playhead position is chosen when you build the update, not on the deck.
Changelog
- v1.0.0Latest
- First release (beta, emulator-tested): beat counts 4 / 8 / 16 / 32 (64 / 128 zoomed out) under the detail waveform, measured from the playhead, at every zoom level.
- Playhead a quarter from the left like the CDJ-3000 (the default), or Stock in the middle: an option on the website.
- The numbers take the digits and colours of the screen, so screen themes restyle them too.
