Stacked Waveform
The tempo master's waveform with its beat grid in a strip above your own, like the CDJ-3000's stacked waveform: PHASE METER TYPE 3 on the SHORT CUT screen (or tap the phase meter). Line up the beat ticks of the two waveforms by eye to beatmatch. The strip follows your zoom, the detail waveform's colours (3-band with 3-Band Waveform), every GUI type, and Beat Numbers' playhead.

- Needs
- Nothing else: works on its own.
- Known limits
- Experimental: earlier test builds ran on decks; this version is tested in the CDJ-2000NXS2 emulator and the interpreter, not yet on a deck.
- Needs another player on Pro DJ Link as tempo master. While this player is master the strip stays empty (Pro DJ Link passes master to a playing deck when the master stops).
- Not together with Key Shift: the two don't fit the MAIN flash together.
- TYPE 3 is not saved: after a restart the deck starts in TYPE 2.
- While this player loads a track the strip keeps its last picture for about half a second.
- The master's position comes from its beat packets; after PLAY on the master the strip starts moving with the master's next status (up to 0.2 s later).
Changelog
- v1.0.0Latest
- First release (experimental): the tempo master's waveform with its beat grid in a strip above the detail waveform, CDJ-3000 style, as PHASE METER TYPE 3.
- The strip steps with the detail waveform below it, so with SYNC on their beat ticks stay together; beat-packet corrections go in smoothly.
- Follows the GUI types (strip colours, a TYPE 3 button in the type's own style) and Beat Numbers' CDJ-3000 playhead.
