RGB and 3-Band Waveforms
Native RGB and 3-Band detail and overview waveforms for the CDJ-2000NXS. A new UTILITY → WAVE COLOR row chooses BLUE (stock), RGB or 3BAND on the deck; the choice is saved. RGB uses the rekordbox EXT analysis and 3-Band the 2EX analysis; tracks without it stay BLUE. Tested on a CDJ-2000NXS (firmware 1.44) and in the emulator.

- Player
- Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS, firmware 1.44
- On the deck
- UTILITY → WAVE COLOR
- Needs
- Nothing else: works on its own.
- Known limits
- Tested on a CDJ-2000NXS (firmware 1.44) and in the emulator.
- BLUE, RGB and 3BAND are runtime choices of one mod (UTILITY → WAVE COLOR), not separate builds.
- RGB needs the rekordbox EXT analysis and 3-Band the 2EX analysis on the media; without it the waveforms stay BLUE.
- The emulator fixture plays synthetic silence, so the waveform data was checked, not audio playback.
- Same-track style changes, all five zoom levels, the saved style after a cold boot and the missing-2EX fallback passed in the emulator. Rapid switching, Pro DJ Link peers, SD cards and wider track collections are untested.
- Shows "Mods by LNNRT" under the firmware version on the boot screen (the lab's boot credit, drawn by the stock splash; the version line moves up a row).
- Includes the lab's repair for changing the stock PLAYER No. setting. Its files are the lab's emulator-tested parts: the GUI is waveform preview 1's (with the boot credit), the MAIN the repaired MAIN that passed the website smoke test (RGB and 3-Band views, WAVE COLOR switching, PLAYER No. changes), and with Browse BPM + Key the whole file is the lab's tested Wave+Browse candidate.
